Who is responsible for your data

Waglio is the name of the app and website. The Waglio team operates the service and handles data enquiries. For data questions and rights requests, contact support@waglio.app.

What information we process

Account information includes your email address, name, sign-in verification details and technical session data. Family and social features process the information you provide while using them: your dog's profile, care events, records available to members, cards, messages and selected walk details. Signing in does not publish the diary stored locally on your phone.

Why we use this information

Information is used to provide requested features, verify sign-ins, synchronise permitted details, provide support and protect the service from abuse. Card publication, family sharing, location sharing and newsletter subscriptions are controlled separately.

Your account on the website

The website uses the same account as the app. It provides the owner's name and avatar, the dog's profile within your family role's permissions, saved walks and event statistics. Your statistics are calculated independently of marketing analytics consent. A separate web session is stored on the server; the browser cookie does not contain the app token. Account pages and precise routes are not sent to Google Analytics.

Reports and moderation

Conversations are end-to-end encrypted. When reporting something, a user separately selects messages and attachments and explicitly sends them to a moderator; other messages remain undisclosed. Submitted content is treated as user-provided evidence. The service owner may restrict social features or a server account and revoke sessions. Closed report materials are deleted 90 days after the decision; administrative action logs are retained for one year. Passwords and message content are not included in action logs.

Newsletters and app analytics

News is sent to a verified address only with separate consent. Unsubscribe through each marketing email or the app's settings. App analytics is also optional: permitted action names, the app version and account identifier are collected; these are not anonymous data. Free text, photographs and precise coordinates are not included in these events.

Website analytics

If you allow website analytics, Google Analytics receives technical information about page use and permitted interaction events. Google is an external provider and may process information outside the Russian Federation. The analytics script does not load before consent. Decline or withdraw consent in cookie settings. Email addresses, passwords and private administration content are not sent to analytics.

Storage and access

The app and website's main server is hosted by Timeweb in Russia. Administrative access is restricted. App analytics history is kept in the operational database for up to 30 days; turning it off removes its operational history. Backups may contain earlier data until their scheduled rotation; server backups are retained for 14 days. Recovery copies on the owner's PC are downloaded manually and stored separately. The owner removes outdated local copies after checking the current recovery set.

Deletion and enquiries

Account deletion is available in the app, subject to the family group owner's responsibilities: first end or transfer shared care. For questions, corrections or data requests, contact support@waglio.app. To protect the account, we may need to verify that its owner made the request. Do not send your password or a sign-in code.

Changes to this document

This document describes the service's current features. If processing purposes or consent requirements change substantially, we update the relevant information and request new consent where required. The revision date appears on the page.
